We saw this guy sign an autograph on a kids neck, pole vault in a cave and shred on the guitar....and we had to sign him.
He's a 13 time USA Championships qualifier, but what gets us stoked is seeing the drive and passion day to day from this Iowa based athlete and musician. Jeff Coover, aka COOV, is the first athlete to represent Miles & Threads and we're ready to rock. Look up to find Jeff training for the 2019 USA Championships and if you’re lucky you might catch one of his $5 PBR koozies in the crowd post vault.

TAKE THE BRIDGE
WE RACE BRIDGES
Take the Bridge is the punk rock version of racing we love. Formed in NYC by Darcy Budworth and team, the idea is simple, you make your own course and get from checkpoint to checkpoint up and over a bridge. We found ourselves jumping over a fence at the base of the Manhattan Bridge in NYC during the last race of the 2018 TTB series and we were hooked. Check these guys out @takethebridge.
We partnered with Take the Bridge in June 2018 to host TTB PDX, a hot two laps over the Tilikum and Hawthorne bridges. Shout out to the Portland Track Festival Innovation Project for aiding in this partnership coming to life.
“LOST BOYS ARE A BUNCH OF LOSERS” - LOST BOYS
After connecting with the LOST BOYS crew in NYC we’ve been flying the L ever since. These guys are all attitude, all good vibes and will fully send it in everything they do. Hit them up for a run in NYC next time you swing through.
Repping the cold winters of Michigan, the Dexter High School Cross team is tough as nails, but their fun as can be. We’ve been partnering to create their custom State Meet Cross Country kits. When we asked for inspiration the guys said, make it fun, throw some pink in there and make it animal themed. Let’s go X-Men.
MILE 2 MARATHON
“I’m an old man, but when I go to a show I won’t hesitate to go into the pit” - Rob Watson
Rob is a 2:13 marathoner and founder of Mile to Marathon, a running group based in Vancouver BC. Inspired by the spirit and energy of this group we’ve collabed on a beanie project. Keep rocking and keep running guys.
